What is the difference between FFF (Blucore) and Depron?

0

FFF and Depron are the same TYPE of foam, but the quality is the difference. FFF has a thin plastic skin on both sides that makes it more resilient to impacts. However this skin has imperfections like hairline wrinkles and a small perforation every square inch. In the air they fly identical. Depron is imported from Europe, it is expensive but the highest quality foam available. It is perfectly smooth, glossy white and slightly stiffer than FFF. They are both easily paintable and weigh almost the same. The Turbo Raven on the Home page of the website is painted FFF! Go with FFF if you just want to fly it, and don’t care too much about the looks. Go with Depron if you plan on making it look really nice and scale.
