What is the difference between “Fedora”, “The Fedora Project”, and “Fedora Core”?
The Fedora Project is a collection of sub-projects. Fedora Core is the central project, which aims to provide a platform with the best in free and open source software. Fedora generally refers to the Fedora Project as a whole, and is sometimes used to refer to Fedora Core or a system running a collection of software from the Fedora Project.
