What is the difference between Facings Terracotta and Saltillo or Terracotta products of Mexico?
The major difference is in the quality of the clay and the process used to produce the products. Facings’ Terracotta uses a finer mixture of clay that won’t leave behind ugly residues and creates a superior appearance. Our terracotta is baked longer and at higher temperatures to produce a superior look and product that allows our terracotta to be frost resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor usages. During the production process, the air in our Terracotta is also removed making our terracotta more durable and resistant to breakage.
