What is the difference between ENUTD1 and POMADE?
Both ENUTD1 and POMADE will update both PO and EN. The main differences between them have to do with the options they offer and how they are run. For instance, POMADE lets you pick whether you want to use DE or FP; ENUTD1 doesn’t. ENUTD1 gives you more selection criteria than POMADE does. ENUTD1 also gives you the option to use a cutoff amount (question EN12); POMADE doesn’t. ENUTD1 has fewer steps, and it gives you a report only option. With POMADE, you use POMADECS to create a file of PO/PR’s you want to disencumber; when you do this, you are given full PO selection criteria. Each option gives you selection criteria based on that section of the PO, so if you wanted to select on all PO’s created before 01/01/2000 and have a FUND of ’12’, you select “3,4” from the menu. POMADECS will create a file and report of entries to be disencumbered.
