What is the difference between enrolling and auditing a course?

When you enroll in a course, you have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and fellow students and post messages to the message board. If you decide to audit a course, you will receive the same access to course materials; however, you won’t be able to contribute to the message boards or receive feedback from the instructor. The features, such as “University Calendar,” “Notebook,” and “My Courses” are available to all students.
