What is the difference between Engineering, Engineering Technology, and Technology?
This is the single most important question that you should ask. In Michigan, there are only four Universities that offer Engineering Technology degrees. Engineering education involves extensive use of calculus in engineering theory classes, as well as related classes such physics and chemistry. Engineering technology education involves studying of many of the same subjects, but the mathematics involved starts with algebra, and moves to applied courses in technical calculus and applied differential equations. Technology education is not as heavily laden with mathematics or science.
