English 660 is the preferred course for teachers in the ESOL add on licensure program. ENG 321 is designed for students in the English licensure program. However, students in the ESOL add-on licensure program may take 321 in lieu of 660 in a semester when 660 is not offered. ENG 660, summer session, is specifically designated for ESOL teachers. ENG 660 during the academic year is more appropriate for English Ph. D. students.
