What is the difference between Eastman™ DUP (unstabilized) and Eastman™ DUP-CA (stabilized)?
Eastman&trade DUP (unstabilized) is a semilinear diundecyl phthalate based on an 11-carbon alcohol. Eastman&trade DUP is slightly more linear than most other available DUP plasticizers. It is ideally suited for applications requiring low volatility such as interior automotive applications. In addition, it offers good resistance to extraction and excellent resistance to UV light. Eastman&trade DUP (stabilized) or Eastman&trade DUP-CA includes a stabilizer and is suited for PVC wire and cable.
