What is the difference between dye sublimation and screen printing?

0

Dye Sublimation is the process in which the dye particles are directly converted into gaseous form from solid particles due to high temperature. The gaseous particles get absorbed between the spaces on the fabric and get retained there. Screen printing on the other hand is a method of imparting prints to the fabrics by discharging colour to the desired place with the help of a screen. The prints on bedsheets, shirts, curtains are done with this method. The screen is having pores on the places where you want the colour to pass through. In other places, it just blocks the colour and doesn’t allow it to pass through. Thus, giving the desired impression on the fabric. The screen is placed basically over the fabric to be printed and colour is then laid with the help of a rubber brush. The main concern area here is to apply uniform pressure through out the fabric to get good quality of print. Hope this will help.
