What is the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R?
DVD+R is a newer format that offers special features for those recording movies. DVD-R is still used, and some drives will be able to read both formats. Most Macintosh DVD drives only support DVD-R media. Check with your drive manufacturer to see which types of discs will work in your drive.
