What is the difference between DukeConnect and the Alumni Directory?
The alumni directory is an “opt-out” system with information on all 135,000+ Duke alumni, and is available to Duke alumni only. The new directory also includes social networking resources such as My Groups, My Events, and My Friends. DukeConnect is an “opt-in” system with more extensive career information for the smaller pool of alumni who have volunteered themselves to be networking resources, and is available to the entire Duke community.
