What is the difference between donating directly to a charity and donating to Operation Kids?
The full amount of your donation goes to the charity whether you give to them directly or through Operation Kids. However, giving to Operation Kids has several advantages. First, if you are giving to multiple charities, it is usually easier for you to make one comprehensive gift to Operation Kids and then have us distribute it to multiple charities, than it is to manage all those gifts individually. Second, if you are a large corporate, foundation or individual donor, Operation Kids will work with benefiting charities ahead of time to get agreement on how the donation will be used, and then hold the charity accountable for using the funds in the agreed-upon manner. Third, Operation Kids will also contribute its cause marketing and public relations expertise to make sure corporate donors receive the appropriate level of recognition for their charitable activities.
