What is the difference between Direct Download and the Bitmunk Marketplace?
When browsing the Bitmunk website, you may see one or more albums, songs, or videos list Direct Download or Bitmunk Marketplace as a download option. Similarly, you may see Bitmunk Direct Purchase or Bitmunk Marketplace Resale as one of the Distribution options. There are two ways to get files on Bitmunk – directly from the Bitmunk website (Direct Download), or swarmed from the Bitmunk marketplace (Bitmunk Marketplace). Direct Download buys the digital content directly from Bitmunk. You can use Direct Download when the Bitmunk Personal Edition software isn’t available to you. However, Direct Downloads of digital content can be more expensive than Bitmunk Marketplace downloads. Bitmunk Marketplace downloads get the digital content from a number of people on the Bitmunk network that have already bought the digital file.
