The video capabilities found in Flash MX 2004 Professional and Flash Communication Server MX complement each other and offer our customers a full range of options on how to use video in their web sites and Internet applications. FLV video delivered via a HTTP server is delivered in a progressive download fashion whereas video delivered via the Flash Communication Server is streamed to the client.
