When the domain administrator deletes an e-mail account, the e-mail account is physically removed. All e-mail currently associated with that account is deleted. When the domain administrator renames an e-mail account, existing e-mail is associated with the renamed account. In addition, the deleted e-mail account is unavailable for reuse for 90 days, whereas the old account becomes immediately available for reuse.
