What is the difference between deleting a family member and making a member of my Family Network “Inactive”?

Within the “Settings” page at the top of your Family Network, you may choose to make a family member “Inactive.” Making a member of your Family Network “Inactive” retains all of the contributions that family member has made to the Family Network. However, the “Inactive” member will no longer be able to log in to the Sesame Street Family Connections site. On the other hand, deleting a member of your Family Network permanently removes that family member from the system, and all records and contributions made by that family member will no longer exist.
