What is the difference between Daisy and DaisyGIS ?
DaisyGIS is a graphical user interface (GUI) which works as an extention (avx-file) in ArcView and Daisy is the actual model (executable-file). The DaisyGIS GUI allows you to set and change a range of Daisy parameters and ultimately generate the Daisy input files. When the Daisy input files are created through the GUI, the correct Daisy formatting are applied so that they are accepted by the “file” parser in Daisy. • How to start DaisyGIS ? Start ArcView and create a new ArcView view. Go to the File menu and select Extensions and select “DHI Daisy – DK standardiseret” and click OK.
