What is the difference between CV and application?
CV is about • Two A4 pages in which you describe your contact details, academic background, work experience with the most recent on the top, your special skills and competencies and perhaps your reference people. • You may also include a photo with your CV but we recommend leaving those beach babe photos to the home album and selecting something a bit more appropriate! • Unless we ask for, please do not attach your references and school records to your CV! We will run out of trees if we print all those documents on paper! Application is about • Your personal marketing letter which should attract us to read your CV as well and make us want to meet with you. • It should not be longer than one A4. • You should tailor your application to the job you are applying for and present us evidence why you are the most suitable for the role. • If we want your salary request, you can write it at the end of the application.
