What is the difference between custom-sized or stock-sized windows?
You must have you windows custom-sized for the simple reason that they’ll fit perfectly in the window opening. This prevents air and water infiltration. Most window openings are NOT square, plumb or level. Stock-sized windows are installed during new construction and are commonly referred to as builder grade windows. Custom-sized windows don’t require any alteration to the interior and exterior of the home.
