What is the difference between CSP and SAC?
The Center for Student Programs is a department under the Vice President of Student Affairs. CSP is comprised of several professional staff people who are here to help students create and work towards their organizational goals. Through individual meetings, workshops, and required trainings, CSP staff can assist you through University protocol to assure that your activities and programming is managed effectively and efficiently and consistent with policy. SAC is a group of students who have volunteered their time to serve their fellow students and our student organizations by being resources and making programming and funding recommendations to the Vice President of Student Affairs. SAC is empowered by the VP of Student Affairs and advised by CSP to take into consideration the desires of the greater student body, the needs of their organizations as a whole, and the mission, purpose, and ethos of the institution when making these difficult decisions.
