What is the difference between Cross Country and Explorer carriers?
The RoofBag Cross Country carrier has no exposed stitching at all, making this bag 100% waterproof. In contrast, the RoofBag Explorer has stitching around the zipper flap, creating the possibility of water penetration, although minor, through the needle holes along the stitching. Because of the possibility of some minor water seepage in heavy rain, we say that the Explorer is 99% waterproof.
