What is the difference between CoolBack® fleece and WoolBack® fleece?
A. WoolBack® is a fabric made from 100% Virgin Wool. Coolback® is a synthetic orthopedic fleece originally designed for hospital use. Both fabrics have been specially formulated for equestrian use exclusively for Toklat Originals. WoolBack® has all of the properties of natural wool: it has a natural resiliency; it is very breathable; and it can absorb 80% of it’s own weight in moisture. These features together make a therapeutic pad that disperses heat very efficiently and removes moisture from the horse’s back.
