0

Convex lens has an outward curve and a concave lens has an inward curve. Both the lenses have at least one polished surface. Convex lens converges a light ray so, it is a convergent lens. When light ray is refracted through a concave lens it diverges so, a concave lens is a divergent lens. Concave lens is thinner at middle than its edges whereas, convex lens is thicker at the middle.
