What is the difference between computer science and computing?

Not neccessarily. I have studied computing to HND level. I have used procedural and OOP techniques and have become familiar with encapsulation, polymorphism and all sorts of design principles like UML and SSADM. I think you are undermining Computing as a subject. They are 2 of the same, with computer science maybe slightly more weighted to theory rather than practice.
