What is the difference between “community involvement” and “charitable giving”?
“Community involvement” refers to participation in or development of community events or groups – forums for community action or education in the form of workshops, lectures, etc. “Charitable giving” refers to time or money donated to non-profit organizations. Time or money donated to local non-profits may be counted under either of the two categories, but not both.
