What is the difference between commercial fishing dockage and public water access?
A- Commercial fishing dockage would benefit the larger fishing vessels that do not often come out of the water, while public water access would be for those smaller vessels that go in and out of the water frequently whether for commercial or recreational use. For the Village to provide public water access, it would also have to provide parking area for the vehicles and trailers that transport the boats.
