What is the difference between colour thru and colour hardener?

Colour thru is an oxide pigment which is mixed into the concrete before your garden edging is laid. Colour hardener is a mixture of ingredients which is made into a slurry and poured over plain concrete kerbing giving it a coloured coating. Colour hardener is normally about twice as hard as concrete. Colour hardener is brighter and smoother in appearance than colour thru which has more of a dull matt finish. You can see the difference on our kerb photo page.
