What is the difference between coin in and key in?
Coin in is the signal that is retrieved by a coin being dropped into a machine or a bill accepted into a bill acceptor. Key in is when an attendant physically inserts a key into a switch on the machine and turns it manually which then sends a signal to the PCB board. Key in also can be done by pushing a button on the control panel or the back of the cabinet (wherever it may be located) and it sends a value to the PCB board. This is usually used at locations that provide playback cards.
