What is the difference between coil coated and post finished metal panels?
Post finished products are fabricated and then individually spray finished with either air or heat cured paints. Finish warranties are generally 5 to 10 years. Coil coating is a process where metal coils are run through a continuous application process called “reverse rolling”. Once coated, these coils provide the highest level of color consistency, even coil to coil, with standard 20 year finish warranties.
