What Is The Difference Between Coach & Lounge?

0

Both the standard coach, excursion coach and first-class coach cars have a center-aisle with double seats on each side of the aisle. The coach cars have no A/C or heat but do have windows that open and close. The excursion coach and first-class coach cars do have A/C and heat. The first-class coach (the Silver Pine) is considered a first-class car as it has limited seating (44 passengers total), both a men’s and women’s restroom in the car and complimentary snacks (chips, cookies, etc.), fresh fruit and bottled water. The lounge cars have a combination of seating options, either in the open lounge area (tables and chairs or individual chairs) or in a private compartment. Private compartments must be booked through a ticket agent at 512/477-8468. The lounge cars have A/C, heat, and complimentary light snacks, fresh fruit and a wide variety of complimentary beverages, including coffee, sodas and juice.. Click here for more information.
