What is the difference between “Classic” PowerKey and ADB PowerKey Pro?
PowerKey is a Mac-programmable power strip with four outlets, all of which turn on and off with the computer. You can use it to turn on your entire Mac system from the ADB keyboard, schedule automatic startups and shutdowns at specific times, and execute scripts, QuicKeys, and/or keystrokes at specific times. PowerKey Pro Model 200 has all of the abilities of PowerKey, and adds several features. It has six outlets; one is always on, one switches individually and the last four switch as a group. The outlets can turn on with the computer, or independently. PowerKey Pro Model 200 also has a phone jack which allows you to start up or restart your Mac with a phone ring. You can create Events with several actions, including starting up or shutting down, switching outlets, running applications and AppleScripts.
