What is the difference between CIMI and PMC?

0

CIMI stands for Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Instructors are qualified to work with parents and teach baby massage at group classes or via private appointments. They do not need to have pre-requisites, or prior, related training to enrol in the program, training begins at basic level. PMC stands for Paediatric Massage Consultant. Consultants can work with parents in the same way that instructors can, however they can also present in-services or presentations to professional groups. Consultants need to have prior training that is related to baby massage in some way. They are required to forward copies of any previous qualifications to IMIS when they enrol to have their application for the higher qualification approved.
