What is the difference between christening and baptism?
It is a question that has always been a subject of debate within me. Christening vs Baptism? What is the difference? I heard the words used intermittently and you do not know what the real context of these words mean. Does anyone know? In my opinion, more humble, baptism is the representative of the burial. When we decided to follow Christ, we are “dead” to the old ways of sin, buried (baptized), then up as Christ did, and we were told to walk a new life. I believe that baptism is practiced by Catholics, and the sprinkling of holy water in infants. Just my opinion and interpretation again, but I do not think that babies are capable of sin or of distinguishing right from wrong, and if a person “dies” is preferable to meet with Earth, do not spread them.
