What is the difference between certified/official and legalized translation?
A translation is considered to be certified/official, if it is performed by a sworn translator on a form of a licensed translation agency, bearing his/her signature and the stamp of the agency. This set consists of the document in the original language and its translation into the target language. A translation is considered to be legalized if it fulfils the above requirements and is certified by the respective state institutions and is legalized by the Consular Relations Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a final instance.
