What is the difference between Celtic Knots and the Celtic Circle of Life?
In this website, we use the two terms interchangeably. The Celtic Circle of Life is a basic Celtic knot which symbolizes the continuity of life, from one generation to the next, and so on, forever, with no beginning or end. The Celtic knot is a term that applies to many different designs from the very basic Celtic knot to very intricate Celtic knot designs. Most Celtic designs are referred to as Celtic knot designs. Only the most simple Celtic knot, as is found in our jewelry, is also referred to as the Celtic Circle of Life design as well.
