What is the difference between CE Hours and CEUs?
Untitled Document Certain accrediting boards, such as ASHA and AOTA, count credit in tenths of an hour and call them CEUs. For example, a 0.6 CEU course equals 6 CE (or contact) hours. This gets more confusing because many state licensing boards use the terminology of “CEUs,” but actually mean hours. Others use “CCC” or “PDU”. We recommend reading the rules and regulations of your licensing board to determine what terminology they use and how it translates into hour requirements.
