What is the difference between CBCA/CBCLA and CISA?
While CISA credentials are well regarded in the information security audit arena and does qualify one to audit information security, it is less recognized in the business continuity world and unlikely to be accepted by companies seeking certification, for example: The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) published an official document endorsing all three levels of DRI Professional Certification for business continuity; the Department of Homeland Security is setting requirements for audit under PL 110-53 (Private sector preparedness act) and will very likely (I sit on the council of experts) require demonstrated knowledge in both emergency/disaster and business continuity management. In when we look at those who have multiple certifications we see ISACA and DRI International certifications (such as yours) being a complement to each other.
