What is the difference between California DanceArts and California Contemporary Ballet?
California DanceArts enjoys the strong connection to our affiliated dance company California Contemporary Ballet. The school and the performing company were established to train and provide the community with quality dance education and performing opportunities for artists. California DanceArts is an academy for training dancers and providing high caliber dance education, while California Dance Contemporary Ballet (CCBallet) is a non-profit dance company formed to facilitate valuable performance opportunities for dancers who infuse our community with quality dance performances. The California Contemporary Youth Company was established as an extension of CCBallet, expanding these valuable opportunities to young dancers interested in peformance opportunities and career preparation.
