What is the difference between Buddhism and The Ancient Egyptian religion?
There really isn’t that much difference between the two, but there are a few differences… Buddhism is a spiritual guidance which focuses almost entirely on enlightenment through meditation and natural observances. The Egyptians were more devoted to nature, and used meditation as a way to connect with with nature and their deities. Buddhism has no deity. Buddha was never considered a God by any means, but as a teacher. Egyptians had many Gods, about 114 to be exact, and that’s just the mainstream Gods. Egyptians, unlike Buddhism, was know for advances in technology of the era, some more advanced than that found in Europe of the era. Buddhism, again, very nature observant, did not, and still do not focus upon technology Also the ancient Egyptians believed in a Heaven and Hell scenario, where Buddhism, focuses upon enlightenment.
