What is the difference between Browse and Search?
When you browse on the MCLE website you’re looking over a list of products, for example you may be looking over a list of books or a list of upcoming programs. While you can filter these lists somewhat to show only certain products with a category, browsing is limited in two ways: First you can’t browse multiple product types; Second, you will only see the titles of products and not a description of the product. Browsing is the best way to go when you aren’t really sure what terms to search. Unlike browing, searching allows you to find specific terms or phrases anywhere on the website with one or two simple clicks. MCLE’s search operates like a “web crawler,” looking at every page on the site that contains our product descriptions and the entire contents of our written collection.
