What is the difference between bond money and general fund money? Why has there been such improvements to schools and you e cutting?
Voters approved a bond measure in November 1998 that provided about $100 million in funds to build and renovate buildings. Under state law, these funds can only be used for construction projects and the furniture for new buildings. They cannot be used for the operation of the district. These funds have been used almost in their entirety on projects approved with the 1998 bond.
