What is the difference between Block Plans and Traditional Plans?
Block Plans: Block Plan holders have more flexibility to use their plans when they want. Use six meals one week and ten the next. Meals on a block plan carry over from week to week but not from semester to semester. Students can use their block meals at Pulse On Dining in the Viking Marketplace for all-you-care-to eat dining. Traditional Plans: Traditional Plans are designed for students who are on a tight budget, but want to experience everything CSU Dining has to offer. Students can use their meals at Pulse On Dining in the Viking Marketplace for all-you-care-to eat dining. Each time you use a meal, it is subtracted from your weekly balance. Meals do not carry over from week to week and the meals reset every Monday morning. Traditional meal plans are limited to 1 meal per meal time, and consist of 23 meal times per week (Monday – Thursday (4), Friday (3), Saturday – Sunday (2). One meal can be redeemed per meal time. Meal times consist of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late Night hours
