What is the difference between black, green, oolong?
Black Tea: is the most common type of tea consumed in the world. Black tea is fermented completely and then fired. The leaves are then sifted and sorted by various grading methods, including size, age and leaf style. Oolong Tea: The oolong method involves a fermentation process on the leaves. Part way through, this process is stopped by firing the leaves. Oolong teas are fragrant and distinct in taste. They are graded by quality. Green Tea: Green tea is not fermented. The leaves are fired immediately after picking by steaming, hand rolling, or heat drying. These leaves are graded by leaf age and style.
