What is the difference between Bespoke, Semi-Bespoke and Made-to-Measure clothing for men?
Bespoke is 100% custom made for you. It is unique, the term bespoke describes a high degree of customisation and involvement of the end-user. The customer would go into the store and virtually design his own suit from selecting the colour and fabric to the style and of course made to measure with a perfect fit. Made to measure would be a set pattern, colour and design but it would be made to your exact size. So instead of going into a store and purchasing a 44″ chest suit and finding the arms are not long enough or it is okay around the chest but hangs too lose at the back the tailor would ensure a perfect all over fit. Semi Bespoke would be in between the two, maybe it would be a set design but you would get to select certain aspects, maybe the colour and fabric.
