There is no “single” definition of love that is accepted by everybody. Being in love with someone involves feelings of romance, attraction, caring, etc. Having sex is an event or physical act. People may be in love but may not have sex as they do not feel they are ready for it. On the other hand some people may have sex without being in love with each other. Being in love does not put anyone under pressure to have sex. A girl or a boy need not have sex to prove their love for their partner.
