What is the difference between being an “active” vs. “silent” mentor?
It’s like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” novel: You can be as involved as you want to be. An “active” mentor financially supports an intern while also being a mentor to the intern (i.e. spending time with the intern). A “silent” mentor is one who chooses to financially support an intern but cannot also donate time.
