What is the difference between beet sugar and cane sugar?
sugar beat is a vegetable It smells like dirt. Cane is a grass like bamboo My opinion open a bag of beat sugar It is marked as Sugar it smells fill a sugar bowl and it will form lumps It is soft and absorbs water = mold it is also cheaper ☺ give you an idea Cane smells clean and does not clump but costs a little more But goes on sale soon after cooking,,, either sugars will become the fruit in the recipe,,, I would sooner use the best first . . . C&H cane I buy a 20 lb bag every year or so,,, it stores well in coffee cans I’ve painted for the pantry..
