Whereas the BBS provides oversight of the MFT credential, the Board of Psychology (BOP) provides oversight of licensure to become a clinical psychologist in the state of California. At present, SBGI graduates only qualify for the MFT credential. For more information about the BOP, visit www.psychboard.ca.gov.
