What is the difference between B-adrenoceptors and B- receptors?

0

B-adenoceptors are the beta receptors stimulated by adrenaline and noradrenaline. Sometimes, it is written B-receptors. However, the term B-adenoceptor is preferred to avoid mistaking it for the B-receptors of bradykinin. (Take care, if the B is written in Latin font i.e. beta; it is the beta adrenoceptors BUT if it is written in English font then we mean the bradykinin receptors).
