What is the difference between Authorized Payer (AP) access and Third Party PIN (TPP) access?

There are two different types of access that a student can set up for individuals they authorize to have their student account information–Authorized Payer (AP) access and Third Party PIN (TPP) access. AP access allows individuals to view/print/pay a student’s IU bills online on QuikPAY. AP access also allows real-time access to the bursar account, transactions, and statement history. Please refer to the QuikPAY Guide for instructions on how students can set up Authorized Payers and how Authorized Payers can view/pay a student’s bursar bills and for details about the billing process. If assistance is needed with AP access, please e-mail the Office of the Bursar at bursar@indiana.edu with the student’s full name and 10-digit University ID number, as well as any specific questions you have, and we will be glad to try to help you. TPP access allows individuals to view specific areas of a student’s account, such as grades, schedules, holds, financial aid, etc. Students must set up account
